As a university student, it was an incredible experience to interact with the brilliant children who participated in the event. During my four months with enjuba, I saw literacy as more than just reading—it’s the foundation of independent thought and expression. It shapes how we learn and communicate. In my work on branding, visualization, and web design, I aimed to reflect this by strengthening the connection between literacy and local culture. Coming from an art education background, this experience showed me that design is not just about aesthetics—it’s a way to create impact and empower voices.
