On the morning of 13th January, we were honoured to host the Action in Africa team at our offices, a visit that reminded us why collaboration remains at the heart of sustainable educational impact.

We spent the better part of the morning reflecting on our shared journey and the work we continue to do together to support access to quality education, literacy development, and community-centred learning initiatives. Our conversations moved beyond progress reports and plans, and into deeper discussions about purpose—why education matters, how community partnerships strengthen outcomes, and what it takes to build systems that truly serve children and families.

Action in Africa’s long-standing commitment to the social and economic advancement of all persons including children aligns seamlessly with enjuba’s mission to enable children read, count and thrive. This alignment is what makes our collaboration feel less like a formal partnership and more like a shared calling, rooted in the belief that education is both a right and a tool for long-term social change.

We were also honoured to receive an appreciation certificate from the Action in Africa team during the visit.
Why Partnerships Matter in Education
Strong partnerships are essential for scaling impact in education. By working together, organisations can combine expertise, resources, and networks to reach more learners, strengthen educational systems, and respond more effectively to community needs. At enjuba, collaboration allows us to innovate, remain accountable to the communities we serve, and deepen the impact of our literacy and learning programmes.
