On 5th December 2025, the enjuba International School community came together for one of the most anticipated events on our school calendar, the End-of-Year Concert. The day was a beautiful showcase of the growth and confidence our learners have gained throughout the year before their parents, guardians, teachers, and guests.

A Stage Full of Stories, Dance, and Culture
The morning opened with a series of vibrant performances from our talented learners. They took the audience on a creative journey beginning with an interpretative dance of the Biblical story of Jacob and Esau, brought to life through expressive movement and choreography. This was followed by a vibrant exploration of Uganda’s cultural wealth. Each class group presented a traditional dance that celebrated our diverse heritage:
- Bwola Dance from Acholi – energetic and rhythmic

- Bakisimba (Buganda) – elegant and graceful

- Ekitagururo (Western Uganda) – lively and deeply expressive

- Piano performances by learners from both the nursery and primary sections.

These cultural showcases highlighted not only the students’ talent but also our commitment to nurturing identity, confidence, and cultural appreciation. Classic music fans were also treated to delightful mimes of well-loved songs, including Pastor Bugembe’s Biriba Bitya, which had the audience smiling and tapping along.
A Fashion Show Full of Flair
One of the most exciting segments of the concert was the student-led fashion show. Learners confidently walked the runway, showcasing outfits in various themes including casual wear, formal wear, and ballroom/evening styles. With cheers from parents and friends, the budding models made it a fun and unforgettable moment.

Voices of Gratitude and Hope
After the performances, students took to the microphone to appreciate their teachers, parents, and the entire school community for supporting them throughout the 2025 academic year. Their words were sincere, thoughtful, and reflective of the values we strive to instill at enjuba International School.
We were also honoured to hear from key members of our community:
- Mrs Angela Kirunda, Principal
- Mr William Mukisa, Chief Literacy Officer
- Mrs Ayikoru Charity, PTA Representative
- A representative from the local government

Their remarks highlighted the tremendous growth of the school, celebrated the learners’ achievements, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to quality education.
The celebration concluded with a heartwarming gift exchange among students—a moment filled with excitement, laughter, and friendship. Afterwards, the community gathered to cut the cake, marking the end of a successful year. Parents then picked up report cards, warmly congratulated their children, and headed home with full hearts and proud smiles.
As we look forward to the 2026 academic year, we celebrate our students, appreciate our dedicated teachers, and thank our parents for their unwavering partnership. Here’s to a joyful holiday season and an even brighter year ahead!
